What is Otolaryngology? It is a specialized surgical field dealing with diseases of the ear, nose, throat and head and neck. It is commonly referred to as Ear, Nose & Throat (E.N.T.)
I am a board certified medical doctor (M.D.) I graduated from medical school and then completed an internship and residency in Otololaryngology.
The otolaryngology practice commonly encompasses both pediatric and adult care.
Pediatric care includes, but is not limited to, ear infections, sinusistis, tonsils and adenoids problems. Adults are most commonly treated for ear issues, sinus/nose and throat and neck problems.
In addition to the usual problems, I also treat headaches, dizziness, TMJ, skin cancers, snoring and sleep apnea, hearing loss, tinntis, as well as tumors and cancers of the throat, neck and thyroid. I also perform some cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty and otoplasty.
